MY FIRST X-RAY EXPOSUREone word to describe. FUN!we are suppose to xray the stuff we put in our envelope. anything. keychains, earrings, bangles, someone even put spices in. ha`haa. creative! mine contains my handphone cover & keypad. plastic + rubber. cos we're suppose to identify whether the material is radioopaque or radiolucent or partially.EXPOSURE- input our name onto the cassette using a identifier camera
- collimate the field size according to the size of the envelope
- exposure
super duper fast! jus like the click of the mouse.
MANUAL PROCESSING (dark room)
- developer (15-20sec)
- wash (1min)
- fixer (3mins)
- wash (3mins)
- dry
all ready fer developing when my classmate Royce stunned me with this:
"i'm the one who pass u my cassette rite?"
"uh huh"
"i got a feeling i put in the cardboard that separates the xray films (unexposed) into the cassette instead of the xray film cos the texture feels different."
true enuff, he really did put in the cardboard `faints
caused so much funny moments and laughter in the dark room. wahahhaa. so i had to redo my exposure. i dun mind actually cos it's fun! hees.
RESULT
it turned out pretty well, jus that it's not very obvious becos it's not metallic, so it's only visibly clear directly under the light.
