DAY 12WELVECGH day2A&E wasnt that busy. practice a few upper extremity cases and also i did lumbar spine (learnt in year3) on my own! and it was a gd one.
yay! i got a chance to go fer portable too. in
CGH, radiographer in A&E are responsible fer portable duties. they dun have an assigned radiographer jus fer portable duties. procedure wise it's similar to TT. just that the portable machine is newer & less noisy as TT.
things wasnt on my side today.first, i made a mistake by giving an xray film to the correct patient BUT wrong folder.
so careless! because of this i think the radiographer got scolded by the admin people outside.
soooooorry.the next moment, another incident happen, under the same radiographer, under my hands again. this other radiographer pass me the form & cassette to reg, i did, but actually it was a wrong patient's form. cos
2 patients got foot & ankle xray respectively so the forms got mixed up. the radiographer who did the xray
(the same one whom i made the first mistake) was kinda upset about this cos she had to do a repeat since i alr process the cassette under the wrong name.
THEN, yet another thing happened. i was near the computer wires, taking my stuff when suddenly the supply went out & the computer shuts down. i thot i did trip the wires or smthg. i got a shock.
i cant be so unlucky today?!?! in the end they say it was power search cos some of the machines under the same supply got shut down too.
`phewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwi hope i din give a bad impression ..
