DAY 6IX
first day at in-patient

booooooooooooooooooooorrringgggggg. hai. thank gdness Chengwu was the radiographer on-duty in IP before lunch. at least when there're no cases (which really there isnt much ..) , there's smone i know to talk to. THEN we found out that both of us are those kinda ppl who would wait fer someone to start talking first. ha`haa so it's quite hard to actually kick-start a conversation. well, glad that he let me try some cases on my own & this time round i din screw up!! `happies
BUT that doesnt mean you can just leave the dept & let me handle the patients ALONE?!?!? furthermore it's stuff i haven even learnt before.
hai additional point, he's also a weird guy who likes talking pictures of girls, solo ones smmore. (hopefully not psych) cos i was one of his "victims" too. but i really like his phone cos it can take really nice photos ..wahahhaa. `winks
then again, it makes my time in IP a lil less boring ..

i din go fer break today too, simply because it wont have made a diff whether im going or not, cos it's break-time all the while with jus me myself & I ..hai. furthermore the out-patient ppl are too busy to have break & Edept ppl ..im not really close to them. but thanks Jiayu, who came by during her break to give me a visit when i was stoning away ..hahahaa.

after lunch was the worst. i literally jus stood by to observe & watch every case come & go, i feel im rather redundant. hai. din really talk much to the radiographer on-duty, & it's quite difficult & not-nice to just cut into their conversations. so i simply stood there, stone & listen most of the time ..somebody help me!!!!!

handling with patients in wards is tough!! i cant imagine me doing it myself 3years down the road. it's a test of strength, mental ability and a whole LOT of patience. they come in all shapes & sizes, asleep or agitated, on a world of their own, the couldnt-stop-moving-for-jus-a-sec (making everyone on the verge of pulling their hair jus to take an xray) and
...............erm they all have the same kinda "smell". i know i must get use to "IT" and I WILL!
so im not complaining ..just thot i could give some warning to Sulin. (before you start ur clinicals in year3 ..ha`haa)

may tmr be a lil less boring ..
