A Fairytale Xmas

Met up with Wensi after work to have dinner @ Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao & some shopping. Dinner was full-filling so the girl suggested we walk the entire scotts road & orchard stretch, nightbathing under the christmas lightings with the shopping crowd on a friday night. We ended feeling super tired and our legs sore but hopefully we managed to burn off some calories after walking from far east to ps ..hahaa
Hmmms maybe its still too early for xmas. This year's lightings didnt seemed as special or magnificent. Nonetheless we still took a few snapshots (up soons). This year's theme is a fairytale christmas ..
..The Story of Prince Noel and Princess Ballerina
Once upon a Christmas time, in a faraway land, lived handsome Prince Noel in a magnificent palace. From the soaring towers of his castle, he loved to survey his domain, and in particular, gaze at the beautiful Princess Ballerina, who lived in a magical carousel across the way.
Prince Noel enjoyed watching the ballerina dance all day long to the music of an Enchanted Harp, which played the most magnificent music. As Christmas got closer, Prince Noel found himself falling deeply in love with the dancing Princess. He decided to propose to her on Christmas Eve.
Christmas Eve finally arrived, and Prince Noel arose early to declare his love, but when he went to his window, he found the Princess missing!
Worried and anxious, he rushed down to the carousel to find it empty, with Princess Ballerina nowhere in sight. Suddenly, he heard music, and turned around to find the Enchanted Harp singing to him.
“Follow the Crystal Snowflakes,” it sang, and Prince Noel looked up to see a trail of snowflakes leading away from the carousel.
He set off immediately in search of the Princess, guided by the snowflakes which twinkled and glittered, lighting the way. After a long journey, he came upon a crystal ball, which showed his beloved Princess Ballerina dancing away in a distant land.
Encouraged by this vision, he continued his search, and after a long walk, he began to tire as it suddenly became colder.
He found himself at the edge of a glittering forest. It was the Crystal Forest which he had heard so much about. The forest was huge, and Prince Noel had no choice but to go through it. He wandered in, thinking he might get lost, when all of a sudden, he heard a tinkling sound which grew louder and louder.
Prince Noel looked up. Arriving from amongst the clouds on a chariot led by silver swans was the legendary and beautiful Crystal Fairy. The swans landed the chariot gently on the snow and the Crystal Fairy approached the Prince, asking him if he was lost.
After Prince Noel explained his mission, the Crystal Fairy offered her chariot to take him to Princess Ballerina. He thanked her excitedly and boarded the chariot, waving to her as he was flown above the dancing snowflakes towards his one true love.
Finally, just before the magic stroke of midnight, the snowflakes faded away, and Prince Noel arrived at a stunning palace of crystal and gold. Joyous Christmas carols emanated from within and he knew at once that he had found his Princess.
And on that magical Christmas Day, in a faraway fairy tale land, Prince Noel married Princess Ballerina and they both lived happily ever after.
